Learn to Dance

If you would like to learn square dancing, we host regular Monday evening classes (Basic/Mainstream – Level 1) that begin in September & January. $5.00/adult and $2/youth each evening.  Join us at the Little Mountain Elementary 9350 Fallon Ave, Monticello, MN, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

We recommend attending all classes since calls are taught in sequence.  You do not need a partner. Singles or couples are welcome as everyone dances in a square with seven other people.  Ages 8+ are welcome – we have dancers at lessons and in our club ranging in age from 8 to 96 years old.  Angels (experienced dancers) will dance with new dancers to help them learn the calls. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes good for walking.
