County Line Squares

Welcome to the County Line Squares web site.  If you’re new to square dancing and would like to learn, we host regular Monday evening classes which begin September 9, 2019 (first class is free, $4.00 a person each evening).  Learn square dancing with professional square dance caller Abe Maier.  Join us at the Monticello Middle School (East Entrance, Door 20), 800 E Broadway St, Monticello, MN, (map) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Click Learn to Dance for additional information.

County Line Squares is a square dance organization that dances on the second and fifth Fridays of the month (September through May) at the Pinewood Elementary School (West Door), 1010 W Broadway, Monticello, MN (map).  Our dances start at 7:30 pm; Plus from 7:30 to 8:00 pm; Mainstream from 8:00 to 10:00 pm; with Round or Line Dancing between tips.  All dancers are welcome; come and join us!  We hope you can find the answers to your questions.  If not, please contact us at clsquares@aol.com.

County Line Squares is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization exempt from federal income tax and a member of Square Dance Minnesota, Inc.  Our mission is to promote and teach square dancing in all its heritage forms (by promoting square dancing and training new people in the activities of square dancing).

County Line Squares is a Public Charity under Section 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Contributions are deductible under Section 170 of the Code.  We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, legacies, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522 of the Code.  Donors are requested to contact a County Line Squares officer or clsquares@aol.com prior to making a donation, other than cash in any form, so that the donation may be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities it may pose for County Line Squares.
